We have a user with a Cisco VoIp phone - model 7942 who states that when she receives a call, puts the caller on hold, receives a 2nd call, and puts them on hold as well, she can not retrieve either on-hold caller. She also states that this is an intermittent issue. Does anyone have experience with this problem, and maybe a solution?

Thanks

I have had users tell me that before. And its always been a user issue.

Thank you for you quick response. Your assessment of the situation was our first response as well. However, both I and my partner have personally experienced the intermittent problem while working on site with the customer. We've seen it happen and verified she was using correct procedure to place, and retrieve on-hold calls.

Are you on the latest firmware for the phone?

The phone in question is a Cisco 7961 using Active Load SCCP42.9-4-2SR@-2S.
