We have a table with only one column (10 rows). The column contains different values ex. "A", "B", "C" or " " (just empty value or blank). Some values may occur more than once (i.e. there are 5 entries for value "A", 2 each for "B" & "C" and 1 is "empty").

What formula could we use to find the % of each value of total count of all records (in this case 10). And how could we display the result in the report.

Thank you for any help,

phillystyle

A summary count by the column in question and a grand total count. are needed. The percentage is simply ST/GT. You can pick the summary field and grand total field from the formula formula editor under "report fields".
