We have a new server that we want to keep multiple Access databases on. Each of these databases curently have their own MDW files.

Is it possible to allow each of these databases to sit on the same server but still be joined to different MDW files? I always thought that the workgroup file was joined at the application level rather than database.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Graham

The shortcut that is used to access the db determines what workgroup will be used. Therefore, you can locate all of the db's on the same server. I would also place the workgroups on the server as well and reset the shortcut properties to that location.
