We buy a lot of used Mitel IP telephones every day and never know what system they came off of ( 200 ICP, 3300 or 5000 systems ) Once they come in here we first look over them for any type of physical damage ( deep scratches, broken LCD ect ) Then we try and boot them up first on our SX 200 ICP
( which is running the latest software ) if they do not boot up on the 200 ICP we then test them on our 3300 ( which is running the latest software ) and 99% of the time we don’t have a problem. OK SO HERE IS OUR ISSUE If we sell a customer a 5340 IP Telephone that has been tested on our 3300 and they want to put it on their 200 ICP how do they down grade the firmware on the phone to do this? It seems like every time I sell the 5340 or a 5330 that has been tested on our 3300 system and we sell it to one of our customers that has a 200 ICP we have problems. Can you help me?
