We are running Exchange Server 5.5 and Outlook 2000 and 98. All users can send internal mail but 90% cannot send Internet mail from their mailbox but can if they setup Personal folders and send from there. We use a POP3 server for our internet mail at another site, this is working fine and as I said some users at our site have no problem. Also if a user with the problem sets up their profile on one of the working machines their mail works fine from the mailbox, likewise if a working user sets up on a non-working machine their mail stops working. I have been looking at this all weekend so any help would be appreciated.

Make sure that your Outlook settings are pointing to your Exchange server.

Go to properties of out look:

Services: Microsoft Exchange Server
Delivery: Microsoft Exchange Transport

This should solve your problem

Hope this Helps
