We are currently using a reporting tool called R&R v10 (from Liveware) for xbase and SQL. We are using the Activex component to run reports from Delphi. Frequently, when running R&R reports, our users click somewhere on a form that ends up placing the R&R dialogue BEHIND the Delphi form. Then they think they're locked up.

Is there any way to make the R&R status forms run 'MODAL' so that they are forced to stay on top of the Delphi from?

I've contacted R&R and they said that R&R cannot control this but perhaps Dephi could.

If you cannot find any better solution, would Application.Minimize improve the situation by "hiding" the Delphi app from view?

Good idea - that's probably what we'll have to go with if there isn't a more solid solution.
