HI,

I am trying to set up Windows Deployment Services to deploy Windows XP.

I have successfully managed to install an OS with all relevent drivers.

I have also imaged a machine that has all standard software installed, but I am having trouble deploying the install image.

When I boot into the WinPE image (boot.wim taken from vista cd) I recive the following message:
"Windows could not parse or process unattend answer file [x:\sources\wdsunattend\wdsunattend.xml]. The answer file is invalid."

I have added an xml file to the mentioned directory in the WIM file but I keep getting the same message.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated...

I didn't think XP could use the XML files as it's for Vista doesn't XP need an unattend.txt file.
