I have a WD800JB that is a year old. I messed it up while fussing with some cables while the computer was on. I believe all I did was damage the PCB board. I ordered a drive that I thought was similar enough and switched the boards, only to ruin the new HD.

Is there somewhere I can find an exact PCB board to try?

Code on PCB: 2060-001209-004 REV A

I believe the board I tried was a 2060-001209-000 REV A (I am not sure, I have already sent it in)

I *REALLY* need the data off this drive, but I don't think I would be willing to pay $700+ to retrieve the data.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Best way to do that would be to join a bunch of forums that have a for sale\trade section. You can start by going to anandtech and tech-imo, sign up there and then ask around for what you want and ask for the names of other fora, there are dozens of them. One forum or another, you will get the exact pcb board you are looking for for around %50 US. Course you will get the whole drive likely, although someone might have the pcb board only, not as likely as having the whole unit. But thats the cheapest and best chance to get that pcb board. I can pretty much guarantee that will work, ive done it before myself.
If you need help, then look for someone with a lot of posts. I am nork there but i havent been on those boards for a while.

Good advice + great people = tek-tips
