Hi

I have a WD SATA drive that I use to store data(no OS)that has stopped working. The drive is still spinning. When I connect it up the first time the Bios will recognize it but it is not visible anywhere in Windows XP. If I reboot it is not detected anywhere. If I disconnect and reconnect the cables it will go through the same process as above.
Any advise would be appreciated
Thanks

Does that include Disk Management?

You could try a Data recovery program when it is recognized by the BIOS, and see if it can get anything out.

Otherwise perhaps a Professional Recovery service is in order.
