Hi,
I have an intranet in which I call reports using - Works great - (I don't want users doing anything other than viewing reports.)

The report comes up fine in the HTML viewer, but my question is related to CR9. I just upgraded, and I run the reports, but there is no way I can see to simply print the report. It does allow me to export, but no printer button. Since there's really no docs on WCS in version 9, I'm hoping someone else knows how to make it print. IE will only print the current page.

Thanks,
Mark

HTML is a bad viewer to print from as it's formatted for a browser.

Try using the Active X or Java viewer, they're better anyway.

Hi,
As you may know, the Crystal site is temporarily down, as they company was bought by a new company, who will rape us programmers some more, I guess! :)

Can you send me a simple example of how to call my reports and pass parameters using the ActiveX?

What a mistake, upgrading to their latest and (not) greatest. Once you convert the reports to 9.0, you're stuck, and cannot export or save as an older version. What were they thinking???

Sorry to vent, but this simple set of tasks has turned into a nightmare...just finding the right product with WCS on it was a challenge for both their sales and support team. $1400 later, I get it, and find out they crippled it. Fun.

Anyway, thank you very much for the help! I hope I can help you out one day, too.
