Thanks for the reply.
I have WCS logging turned on for CE 9 Pro and can look at the log files. What I want is a report of the frequency of users and reports beign run from CE. I capture this in my other reporting applications by logging to a sql DB and then reporting errors, elapsed time, reportname, user and other stuff. I read in "Using Crystal Enterprise 8.5 by Lucas Sanborn. that there are some reports and i assumed this ment .rpt's that were available from Crystal Decisions the would read the data from the WCS Log files. This is what I am looking for. I suppose I can e-mail Sanborn and try to get the info if nobody knows where to find them.
okay then..I think this is mentioned in the book by error. I have never seen any of these reports and can't see how any report would work anyway since this information is not stored or captured by the CE system.
I was on the APOS Systems site and they have some add-on tools and one of them I believe can log and capture this kind if information.
From what I have heard from the recent CDUGNA, v10 will have some auting capability.
These logs also will not tell you this information. It will show the report and the process and if it was successful or not, but no user info.
