Way Around using Barge-in? 1

ok a few of our recept's want to know if there is a way to announce a call to someone without having to use bargein if they are using the phone.is there a way to announce it over the speakerphone without interuppting there call?

It depends upon what series of phones that you are using. If you are using the Legend MLX series, then you can do it, but not on the 4400 series for the Magix. Single-Pair digital kills this feature.

If you're using the 4400 series phones, your could page or use instant messaging. If this is a "must have" switch to MLX phones.

i have the mlx phones the ones i have mlx-20L and about 30 or so MLX-28D but only 3 of them want to be able to call someone without using barge in. so can ya guys tell me how so i can let the ladies that want to know,know how to do it.

program voice annouce over busy

System Program > Start/Exit > More > Cntrl Prog > More a few times 'til you see VOICE ANNOUNCE > press it, then press RECEIVE > On is on all the time, Off is off all the time and IDLE is on ONLY WHEN THEY ARE NOT BUSY on the phone.

The default is ON.
