Wave Device, How to Install in Win/98SE

I am having trouble installing a wave device in Win/98.
Every time I start up win/98 a wave device install starts and I cannot find in on my audio drivers disk.
Any suggestions,

This may due to the hardware may not in Windows HCL. You may use the CD or diskette that come along with your hardware. The driver should be there.

I could be wrong, (I don't have anything to check on at the moment) but try your modem driver disk.
