WATERMARKS, BACKGROUND ETC

Hi,

This may be a stupid question but ....

My boss wants the word "DRAFT" viewed accross every page in normal view or in "page break" view.

The Background function does it over a sheet. The Watermark only shows in Print view

Any ideas please???

XLHelp - the "'page break' view" made me think Excel - but I suppose I could be wrong....

I am suspecting Word. If so, you may want to look in Help. It clearly states...

Microsoft Word displays watermarks in print layout and print preview only.

Those are watermarks.

As for backgrounds:

Microsoft Word displays document backgrounds in Web layout view only.

You simply are not going to get this, or anything like it, in Normal View. Tell your boss to use PrintLayout View.
