Watermark in Excel with VBScript

I want to add a text watermark to excel from a VBScript program. I download a COM Add-In that I found through the Excel help and this works perfectly using VBA within Excel. However, when I use similar code from a VBScript program, it just adds in the text over the content of the Excel document - not as a watermark behind it.

I would appreciate any advice on this.

Managed to do it by creating an image with the watermark text I wanted and then adding that image to the page header dynamically with VBScript.

Yes - but is is a Microsoft Office Forum and Excel is a Microsoft Office program. It was a toss up which forum to post it in.
