This message comes up sporadically when executing a FP2.6 app on a Novell server (Intranetware 4.11). Once this message comes up, the workstation has to be restarted in order to run the app. When searching Microsoft's knowledgebase on "watcom 386" an article on "not enough memory" is returned". Novell's knowledgebase says the problem is Microsoft's fault (TID 2918968). Does anybody know exactly what causes this and how to resolve it? [sig][/sig]

I have seen this before when 2 people try to start a application at the same time.
Is the App run from the Server or Copied to a Local Hard Drive first then started?

IF Answer="Yes"
Check the Workstation Hard Drive for Read Write Errors

Else
Check the Directory the Application is in and Ensure the Network Flags are at least:
Read Only, Shared and Executable.
Depending on the size of your network, You will see a speed and performance increase if you copy the appplication to the local hard drive before starting it.

Endif

Example of a FPW Loader Program (assumes app is in default directory)
parameter pcApp
on error
set talk off
set safety off
on error **
md C:\FPWAPPS
on error
copy file (pcApp) to ("C:\FPWAPPS\"+pcApp)
do ("C:\FPWAPPS\"+pcApp) [sig]
David W. Grewe
Dave@internationalbid.net
[/sig]

What is the operating system for the w/station? There have been issues with the Intranetware Client for Windows, so this could be a source of your problem. [sig][/sig]
