Watchguard stopping exchange receipts

Our exchange users have started complaining about not receiving email receipts from external email addreses. It has coincided with an upgrade on our Firebox 111. Has anyone else experienced this and know of a resolution.

Check out the SMTP proxy settings, and if you have SpamScreen give that a look too.

To answer your question directly, I do not know. I use WFS on a Firebox II with SpamScreen.

Oh yeah, review your default packet handling - since the upgrade are you "auto-banning" anyone???

If all else fails roll that thing back to the last flash image (you did save the previous flash, right???) and wait a week for a response from our WG buddies in Seattle lol....
 
Check your logs for any deny messages and let us know what you find. The answer is in there.
 
Are you using only the SMTP proxy for mail? You may want to configure a SMTP filter for outbound and use only the SMTP proxy for incoming. This is a basic troubleshooting step and what WG recommends anyway. Also, check to see if perhaps the ESTMP settings are all checked in the SMTP proxy config, this causes all kinds of problems, and my be the cluprit.
