WatchGuard Firebox deleting only one users attachments

Hi,
I have a user who is getting the following error message attached to their messages when they try and send attached xls or pdf files. We have our own domain but use pop email through our isp. I looked on the firewall and it looks like we had spamblocker but it has expired, so i can not make any changes to it.

Cause : The message encoding may not be safe.
Content type : application/octet-stream
File name : XiongSheng order 1-29-09.xls
Virus status : No information.
Action : The Firebox deleted XiongSheng order 1-29-09.xls.

The Excel file from this one person is being identified as application/octet-stream for some reason.

The easiest way I've found is to just add application/octet-stream as an approved media type in the smtp incoming filter.
