Wat should I earn

Any advice gratefully received.

I am a certified application developer in MS SQL Server, OCA Developer in Oracle 9i and have 5 years experience as a Business Objects Developer.

Looking at the three areas it seems that BO Development pays the best in contract rates which in my mind I cant understand as the other two areas are far more detailed.

But anyhow - my question - I live in the UK and I am looking to start contracting - what sort of rates should one expect to be paid (daily or hourly) for the above skill areas.

In North America, Monster.com allosw you view "earn what I deserve" which gives you an idea on salaries. I suspect head-hunters may flavour the wages in a more optimistic light (since it is in their interest for you to seek employment), but at least you can compare. The UK web sites seem a tad different, but perhaps if you create an account, you can access the required info...
