I have some Visio diagrams that I want to put into a Word document (just the picture, no need for the object).

I select all on Visio and then paste into Word. The picture shows up, but it is smaller than it could be in the Word document. I try to put a border around it in Word, and the picture only takes up about 25% of the space within the border.

Is there a better way to copy a picture from Visio so that the items in the drawing take up all of the space in the resulting pasted picture?

Thanks

Are you attempting to copy a landscape Visio item into a 'Portrait' Word document, if so it will appear small

If you want an easy way to copy this format, Select All , Group , Rotate the Visio item Left/Right, Copy
& Paste into the Word Document

You might need to try some of the 'Paste Special' options in Word. They sometimes give a better result with Visio than performing a straight Paste action. However, I've also found that some options will lob a bit of the picture off (the opposite of the problem you are currently having).
