wast.exe found by cwshredder... 1

I have searched and searched. This wast.exe found by cwshredder...

I am uncertain if I should get rid of it or not?

Anyone have any idea...

I have been using the beginners guide to get rid of spyware on a HUGELY polluted machine....

Several reboots CWShredder is still not coming up clean....

Is my next step hijack?

Any help really appreciated...

1> Google on wast.exe indicates that it goes with a "rare" tandy version of an old program called the ancient art of war at sea. ( I have the non tandy version but never learned how to play it.)

2) If you have run current versions of spybot or adaware, and cwshredder, and your machine is still not coming up clean, then yes, your next step is a hijack this log.

When you do that, install hijack this in its own (non temporary ) folder such as c:\hjt so you dont loose the backups it makes and post the log here in your own thread.
