I have a problem very similar to what Einstien47 reported on Nov 2002. I did not see a response to that post. I have a server that has pretty much been untouched that suddenly cannot launch the WAS Admin server. In the stdout log it gets to TASKS (last step before "Open for e-business"
. WAS support tells me it's a problem with JDBC but I don't see any issues in the configuration. Other than a few unrelated Linux OS updates this configuration has been stable. I can succesfully connect to the DB. This install has been running for over a year and rebooted last in October 2002. Could it possibly be a license expiration?
Configuration:
RH Linux v7.1
WAS v4.01 Advanced
DB2 v7.2
WAS is on same machine as DB
