Does anyone know how I can program a telephone so that it will activate a warning tone or must I program a trunk and assign an ACOD to it so that only that phone can activate this tone. If I have to program a trunk what type should it be.

Where is this tone coming from and where is it going to? ie do you have a tone generator and you are trying to put a tone over a paging system as a Tornado warning for example when you dial a specific number?

Tone is coming out of a Bogen VT100 amplifier. Tone is generated by amplifier. Yes I trying to put a tone over a paging system like a Tornado warning when we dial a specific number.

Not used Bogen, in the Valcom world you would use a V9940 Station level page adapter, telephone line in/contact closure out, connected to a V9927A Multi tone generator, contact closure in to the appropriate tone connection and tone output to the paging system input.
You can use a standard analog line for this option.

On the Valcom V2006 (for example) there is a built in tone that can also be used, you would just need the V9940 to provide contact closure to the right pair on the paging system, the Bogen may have similar.
Hope this helps.
