My system is hanging & won't boot up.
While trying to configure my qlogic Fiber card, I followed some of the recommendation to do the following.
Use the following commands to remove the ifp or qlc driver.
# rem_drv ifp
# rem_drv qlc
# Use the following commands to remove then add the qla2300 "sd" driver.
#
# rem_drv qla2300
# add_drv -c scsi -i '"pci1077,2300"' -n qla2300
#
# Use the following commands to remove then add the qla2300 "ssd" driver.
#
# rem_drv qla2300
# add_drv -i '"pci1077,2300"' -n qla2300
I removed drv ifp. When I tried to reboot the server, it hangs with the following error message :
The system is coming up. Please wait.
