I just wanted to warn everyone out there about a problem with upgrading from R5 to R6 that I came across in my own migration. If you use Symantec for Lotus Notes on your Domino server you will need to uninstall it and purchase the new release which has just come out, it is version 3.1. You will need to purchase the entire enterprise ed. to do so but in today's world of viruses that travel via email it is a must have.
The proper protocol for doing the upgrade with Norton/Symantec installed on the system is to uninstall Norton from the OS, then uninstal Symantec from Notes, remove all services related to both products such as live update and all other products that are tied in. Then do your upgrade to R6(be sure to have a fresh backup!!!), reboot server install the latest version of Symantec for Notes v3.1 and then for the OS and all will be good. If you do not remove Norton or attempt to install v3.0 for Notes again it will crash your Domino server and make life otherwise a living hell.
Hope that helped someone!
