War file placment

Hello

I have created a webapp which i have created under the context root c:\jspapp - i am using tomcat 4.17. I want to deploy this to other machines under the same structure namely c:\jspapp. Can i create a war file with the entire directory structure underneath jspapp and transfer it to another machine placing it in the directory c:\jspapp?

Go to the root of your webapp, (ie C:\jspapp) and type "jar -cvf myapp.war *"

Then dump this war file in TOMCAT_HOME/webapps on other machines (or your machine) ...
