I have a Netgear WG302 WAP, just a basic WAP only device connecting 6 office PC's
(WAP has 1 x LAN port). Currently don't have permanent internet.

While I wait for ADSL connection from Telstra, I want to connect to internet via wireless broadband modem.

For the iBurst, do I need to buy a Router with WAN port (ie. connect Netgear WAP LAN port to LAN port of router and then broadband modem to WAN port of router)?

I am a little worried that any Router I buy will be a waste of money when ADSL comes. Will the Netgear WAP connect directly to ADSL modem for internet connection, and is a broadband router needed at all?

If any one can help, I will be very grateful.

I would recommend a firewall rather than a broadband router. Something like the WatchGuard Firebox X10e-Wireless or the SonicWALL TotalSecure 25 Wireless devices. These will offer you much greater protection while giving you secure wireless in your SOHO environment.
