Has any one out there developed a way to pop up a "please wait - generating report" screen? If a report takes more than 5 seconds to come up, users generally won't wait. They usually start pressing buttons. Actually, I am surprised that Enterprise doesn't have this built in. What have others done to overcome this problem?

What fries me is that the scheduler brings up the history page with a status of Pending - and then just sits there. To see if the report ever completes, the user has to keep clicking Refresh, like a crosswalk that never says Walk until you press the button.
I built a meta-refresh tag into the history page, with logic to default to 10 seconds but allow a longer cycle or turn it off completely. And I'm no brilliant javascript coder. You'd think Crystal could have come up with something.
