Hi all,

We are planning to use apache tomcat in production environment. Our site has a huge client accessing may be thousands. Is it possible for apache tomcat 4.1.24 to handle such a huge request at a time.
Please do reply as early as possible.
Regards,
Arunkumar

When you say thousands is that per day, week, month ?????

I would think that you should not have a problem, we have seen no problems even when running on a single stack (one Apache server, one tomcat server and a single dB backend server) with over a million hits per month.

Obviously running the "four" tomcat workers loadbalanced (with ajp) over two Apache webservers then loadbalanced at the front end by LVS is our standard production environment.

What was the environment that you had planned?

I hope that helps?

Laurie.
