Wanted help to start with Win API's

HI all,

how can i know which api is for what.Which is the most preferred site to search for help. Micorsoft does gives help to know what the parameters are for but is there any site which gives examples using api's

for tons of code you can look at...

http://www.planet-source-code.com

or you can search groups at yahoo or google and will find many sites that have examples.

allapi.net have a real beaut of an API source database but it has it's limitations. I have reached the conclusion if you want the best advice you have to buy it and it won't come cheap. MSDN for instance and that is only for starters.
