Wanted: Full IE5.x application to cut on CD for install 1

Hi

if I go to the Microsoft web sites, I only seem to be able to download a 500k executable that links be back on the web for an update (even the description on the Microsoft link says download size 10mb - when its not)

Does anybody know where else I can go for a full IE5.x download that can be taken onto a CD and installed remote of the web.

REASON for asking: my client has IE 4.x and has tons of problems when connected or trying to upgrade on line.

I don't know what kind of connection you have but ie5.5 is a 51 megabyte download. May take a while.

Your ISP may offer such a CD, (mine did).
Actually they sent it to me free in the mail.

You use the 500K executable to download the full version. When executing the program click Custom Install and then click on ADVANCED and select DOWNLOAD only.

You get all the files downloaded. joegz
