I am building a simple web site that will use a simple database.
I need a consultant to instruct and guide me. The hard work will be done
by myself. The dirty work too.

Actually the idea of tek-tips (and other technical forums) is to exchange ideas and solutions on a peer to peer basis without charging one another for the efforts made. Why not start with a thread where you throw some questions at us, depending for instance on the RDBMS you are working with and the type of information you want to stow and depict. Quite possibly the datawarehouse forum is not the most appropriate, although I suspect many of us also have insight to other OLTP systems from which we load our data to datawarehouses(marts)............. There are many Database Vendor specific forums on Tek tips which you may want to direct your question to if you have a particular implemenation in mind.

There is also the

General Database Discussion forum forum669

for question which don't pertain to a particular vendor implementation or are for a vendor which currently doesn't have a forum.

Second, I'm sorry for bothering you with my post. Now I know this is not the right place. But I still don't know where it is. It seems Forum669 is upper level too.

Two years ago I was an illiterate in computers. Actually I still am.
I started spending 15 months sending emails. Since January I'm trying to build some websites. A hard task for a beginner. I don't know even what questions to ask.
