Ok, I do not even know what is in the realm of possibilities here, so even if you could point me in the right direction so I could figure it out from there it would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my objective:

To use an IP (which I own) to obtain full access to web from a system which has only partial access to the web.

What spawned this idea:

I can SSH to my linux box then use lynx to browse the web without limits.

Why I want more:

Lynx is ofcourse not as idiot friendly as I would like it to be, so I was thinking maybe I could set up something so any internet browser could access the web without limitation via my 'nix box using their browser provided they had access to my system over the net.

Thanks in advance,
Aaron

have you heard of a proxy server?

link849 alternative would be to look at NAT (network address translation) ...
