I don't have access to create stored procedures so I have to backdoor a query some kind of way...

I have an Oracle SQL query that I want to use in a report and I think you can use either and RDO or DAO...well according to Crystal's Knowledge base you can. Anyway, has anybody out there done this before.

The reason why I can't write a store procedure is because the company that our IT programming is outsourced to won't give me permissions to write one--which by the way takes an act of congress, so I'm in a position where I need to figure out how to make a query/report work on the web since I can't use SQL Designer.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
