want to use ' adapter_def ' resource nim_bosinst

Hello All,
I would like nim to configure a couple of adapters as part of a bosinst mksysb installation. I've created the resource in nim but when I go through the 'smitty nim_bosinst ' menu I cannot see an option to tell nim to use the adapter_def resource.
any help is most welcome,

i must admit, I never used that feature, because I use scripting after bos_inst. Anyway, when you define a adapter definition, you allocate them to a client via the nimadapter command, dont you?

The nim command searches itself in the client definition, if there is a adapter definition and will use them. Did you ever try it? Take a look here:

thanks mad, had a go this morning but nim failed to configure my secondary adapters (I would have never got it wrong !!!!
will have another go with the info' that you supplied,
