I generally deal with technical software and have been asked to clone from a Dell that came with a 20Gig hd over to a 100GIG hd. The new Western Digital 100 needs to be installed without losing any programs or data or the OS. Actually,we need everything on the 20 gig to transfer to the 100 gig. I am told there may be some issues with the IDE not recognizing something or other. The OS is Win2000. There does exist both a functional cd drive and an additional dvd/cdrw drive. Roxio Easy cd creator software is loaded. Nothing is backed up. Please go easy on me, I am not a hardware officiate by any means.
