I have sco unix system and is not able to mount a file system as READ-WRITE FILE SYSTEM. Its mounting only as
READ-ONLY FILESYSTEM. fsck is unable to clean the file
system. Anyhelp.

fstyp should show what you have. What are you trying to mount? [sig]
Ed Fair
efair@atlnet.com

Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply.
If you are trying to access /stand, it mounts as read only by default.

One way around this is to umount /stand and then re-mount /stand

mount /stand

It will re mount as read rewrite.

Although this may not be true if yuor qeustion is in regards to some other filesystem.
