want to find a .dll file version

I looking at creating application where I type in a textbox a file name and hit submit. that it will search for that file. as well as give me the results in report, MS ACCESS.

Have you read FAQ222-2244 yet?

Make a copy of the setup project and have a look in there for code to get the versions of a dll file and more.

Now for searching there are several solutions and suggestions from Dir to controls to the API and with the use of Advanced Search you should be able to find them.
