Hello again.
I was wondering if anyone can show me how to display an incoming calls number. Caller ID you can say. Where abouts in the station or system do I program it so that It shows who's number is dialing in.
Do I need any special equipment or licenses from Avaya.
I am currently running R4. Yes its old but the way the economic is rite now cant afford to upgrade just yet. Soon I hope.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

On the version switch you are on, R4, your only option is to use IDSN PRI trunks. In later versions in-band ANI was supported along with caller-id trunks (ICLID). However to add "Caller-ID" on your switch you will need a TN767 or a TN464 and a processor interface card, with a spare link (they have four) to add the PRI lines. Unfortunately this is you only option on you current switch revision. Hope this helps

Chris
