We have 2 HP4000 network printers. We always get a cover page with each job we send to the printer. Can we disable? Waste of paper. We are using Windows 2000 professional for our OS.

I have not worked with the HP 4000 so I don't know if it has a built in banner feature however I do know that W2k uses separator pages. Right click on the print and click on properties. Click on the Advanced tab, and then the Separator page button. Make sure the path line is clear and OK your way out.

If the driver has a built in banner or the printer has a banner feature, both of which I have seen on other printers, then this won't help.

Good luck and have fun,
