Want to control HP 4si printer output bin with a C dll

We have just purchased a large capacity output bin for our HP 4si printer. The output bin can handle approx. 5,000 pages. However, in order to direct output to the new bin, I would need to walk down the hall (not acceptable) and set the printer manually. I would like to build a dll (or something similar) to control my printer output from either a VB5.0 app or a VC++ app.<br>

I have searched through microsoft.com to no avail. They are many items related to printing, but nothing that would allow me to control the output bin for my print jobs. <br>

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.<br>
