Want to consolidate images 1

There is more than 1 way to accomplish the goal.
Here are some suggestions in the order I would prefer doing this.
1) Use the VERITAS vault solution to vault copies of the images unto a single tape. This will also allow you to change the retention of the original for older images that may have already passed a few months of the 1 year retention.
2) Use bpduplicate to script your own requirements. bpduplicate -help and the bpduplicate man page will assist you in this solution.
3) Restore the data to disk and back it up again with a single policy that would allow it to go to one tape.
These are not the only solutions but should give you something to consider.
