want to check mails of sendmail mailboxes through internetexplorer

i have a linux7.0 installed and send mail configured ,i created 20 users mailboxes .all my client machines are win 98 se ,and my users keep changeing every day can the user,s check their mails using internetexplorer(like outlook webaccess in exchange server).to do that what all do i need to configure
 
install a POP3 server then they would get their mail from your server just like they would their ISP. Qpopper is a good one. If you are talking about a webmail setup kind of like HotMail, you might take a look at and check out their MailMan program. Their are others that may be just as good but I don't have the URLs for them.
 
Are you using pop3 or imap ?

If you are using pop, then all mails received from the server will be downloaded to your local machine and deleted off the server.

Imap allows you to store the mails in the server and accessing it using imap protocol is supported on Netscape Mail, Outlook mail and almost any modern mail package.

Thanx, for your responce, my problem is that i am able to receive mails from linux send mail server using "outlook express" but my problem is that once the mail are down loaded or viewed i dont want to configure all other accounts on to outlook clients on all the windows 98 machines.,so i wanted to use "internet explorer" and just browse the mails as we do useing outlook webaccess (using exchange server and iis).
pls help me out and pls explain that clerly i am a starter in linux..

what i mean is typeing \\ipaddress\exchangeservername and give the username and password for the mail boxes.

What you want is a webmail system.
