Hi

I had a subreport working fine, but now the database administrators have informed me the table that holds the linkage field between the two reports is going to be obsolete and not to use another field...

Please can anybody advise me where this change is done.

I thought I'd done everything but when i run the report through design mode, it comes up with the field as an input parameter request before the report will run...

So I have brought back my original report and await the excellent help that normally results here.

In Crystal 8.5, [Subreport Links] is found under File. You can change a link, if necessary by creating a field of suitable type within the subreport.

Note that subreport links also generate a statement in the subreport selection formula. This can be deleted if you don't want it.

Thanks...but I can't find anything under File? Even if I go into Options or report options?

Aha - got it...

In Main report - under edit.

I was "playing" around in the subreport area's and making a hash of it!
