i want to know how to clip all the edges of a flash movie so that when you enlarge the flash player window, you can't see the workspace(grey area). I dont want people to see the objects coming from off the stage.

please help me, ive looked everywhere for months :)

You woudn't see what's off-stage if your movie is embedded in an html on the web. Is the Dimensions box under the html tab in the Publish settings set to Match Movie?

if you are playing around with the dimentions of the movie, and so see the off stage action, I think the only way to fix this is really to create a layer that covers all the off stage areas and has an open window over the stage like a mask, (but not an actual flash 'mask', though you probably could do this, you would just need to make every other layer sbject to it) ... this would of course be the top layer...

its probably not pretty but it works! (-: The Bird from Down Under
