this is a 2 part questions I think...

when I receive an email, I would like to be able to file it in a folder and be reminded about it x days later

similarly, when I email somebody, I would like to be able to say "remind me about this in 10 days" etc. so I can follow up on the emails I send people better...I've tried filing them in follow-up folders instead of letting them sit in Sent Item but that isn't very efficient or effective.

any suggestions?

Move the e-mail to your calender? Place it on a suitable day and set the 'remind' option?

You could also use Task. This is all for Outlook 2002.

I've tried both of those as well....but then you are presented with either a task item or a calendar event and you have to create a new email or find the original one to send it again...I just want the original email to pop up again 10 days or whatever....I've resorted to forwarding emails back to myself using the "Don't Send Before" feature but it's a pain
