On most of our intranet pages I use a 1 to 2 inch frame on the left side for navigation and display a lot of spreadsheets on the right side frame. Our navigation goes several levels deep, so I keep making the left menu frame wider and wider, up to 3 inches in some cases. Consequently the right side data frame keeps getting smaller and does not adequately display the width of the spreadsheets. (I want to avoid scrolling both directions on the sheet, left/right and up/down.)
I'm looking for some code that will resize the left menu frame down from 3" to 1" or so as soon as a choice is made (a link selected) from the navigation bar. Conversely after the users views the spreadsheet on the right, I want the left menu frame to get wider as needed as they drill down into deeper levels of the navigation.
Thanks,
Paul
