I am installing a Solaris 10 8/07 client using WANBOOT. The flar installs perfectly but the post configuration script is failing. The server is able to find the main finish script but cannot find the scripts that are referenced within the main finish script – saying they cannot be found.

This works using jumpstart but not using WANBOOT.

Has anyone got a solution to this.

Thanks, all comments appreciated.

I may have answered my own question.
Jumpstart uses NFS mounts, wanboot does not.
So, now the question is how to get wanboot to recognise scripts over http or include all the post install scripts as part of the flar...hmmm.

Oh my, a lesson in RTFM...
There are pre and post deployment areas within /etc/flash that enable this to be done.
Who would have thought SUN could be so clever...
