I can not access my BCM remotely after just installing it, I can access it locally through our web interface. I'm assuming I'm missing the default gateway? I can't ping it either....What am I missing?

Sounds like you're missing the default gateway. Log into the Unified Manager, open Services, click on Net Link Manager, and enter your default gateway under the "Next Hop on Primary Link". Doesn't require a reboot, all should be well afterwards.

Thanks, that also worked. What's odd though is before thgis post I typed in a static route under services then IP Routing? Then I changed the address in Net Link Manager and the static route is now gone? But the WAN static worked....

A WAN static route will do the same as putting in the next hop on primary link in Net Link Manager. Whichever you prefer is fine. I've found that the entries in net link manager don't tend to magically disappear as do static route entries.

The "Static" routes will always disappear after a restart becasue they are not configured as "persistent routes". There does not appear to be anyway to setup a persistent route from the UM interface, I think you can do this directly on the box with VNC access and a dos prompt.

Did some digging in the old notes - Static Route 1 will disappear after a restart. Static routes 2 and higher will remain. I tried it on my lab system and it worked. Not sure why it's designed like this though....
