Hi,
Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question...but here goes.

We're running locations on a fractional T1 through some Cisco 1600 routers and when users log in they don't pull the group policies I've setup. Now, they do get their "home folder" mapped, which is setup in their user account, but nothing else gets applied. Scripts setup in GP to map network drives and restrictions don't get pulled from the DC. If the same users log into the same DC in house (our LAN), the policies work fine. All locations are running from our LAN through a Cisco 2500 router->Adtran DSU/CSU->Adtran DSU/CSU->Cisco 1600 router. I'm pretty sure this might be a configuration problem with one of the two types of routers or the Windows 2000 server that is our DC. Any insight would be appreciated.
Chris

Hi,

If the win2K dc considers the wan link as slow <512KB certain group policies will not be applied. You can change this setting however in Win2K ad. Do you have a problem with a long login time. If so, check whether your access-lists are denying certain traffic

I think I've got it fixed. I turned off slow link detection within AD. Log in times are too bad...I guess you could say they are acceptable. Chris
